Sighing, Delliah just got home from the Konoha Hospital since she had to work late again. She immeaditley headed to the couch and plopped down on it," Man, so many people were injured for the last week, I never thought I'd have to work so hard in my life.. Hope Daisuke isn't to mad.. I wonder where he is anyway?" Her purple eyes gazed around once and she leaned back closing her eyes, clearly she was tired. Kiko was even sprawled out on her feet asleep.
" Mom, you okay?" Kisara said, coming in with her nin-wolf Bullet. She had just come back from the training she did for an hour," Don't push yourself to hard, maybe you should take some time off, and spend time with me and dad!" Of course Kisara wasn't supposed to call Daisuke, her father since she knew who her real father was, but still he very much like one to her.
Delliah shrugged her shoulders tiredly," I don't know... but there's rumors going around about killer ninja on the loose here in Konoha. Alot of ninja have crossed there path and well.. let's just say in this week I've lost quite a few of my patients.." She closed her eyes again, just relaxing.

Daisuke was perched silently on the Apartment roof, pondering on the same subject Delliah was, though in a completely different manner. Daisuke was bewildered by all of the evidence found at each murder scene. There were always complex katana wounds found in the autopsies, and there was even a scrap of fabric equivalent to his recent addition to his equipment.
He was also thinking about the nights where he lost every shed of consciousness. Those same nights were also when another crime had been committed. Daisuke new that with each passing day he was changing, but he didn't expect something like this. "I don't remember anything like this...and Kazanmaru couldn't have done this on his own will...but every clue points to...me..." In his frustration, he clenched his fist and made a dent in the roof tiles.

Delliah sighed softly, as her beeper went off, she read the message; Dr.Inuzuka, your patient in Sector F is in need of your assistance.. Delliah sighed and said" I think I have go back.. that Hideki guy is not giving up.. and I'm the only doctor that guy asks for.. You know what? I'm not going.. I'll tell them to send Keira in for me..." She sent it back to them and leaned back," So have you seen Daisuke around?"
" Last time, I saw him was right before I went out to train, mom. He could be on the roof or something. You never know with Dai-san." Kisara said shrugging her shoulders. Delliah sighed and went out towards the balcony.
She put her arms on the railing and sighed heavily," Man, I'm never going to get any peace at this rate.." Her beeper went off again, and she grabbed it turning it off," I know it's my job but.. I'm just tired.. I don't think I wanna even look at another hospital again.." Delliah looked out sighing again.

Daisuke's blood froze over as he heard Delliah mention that familiar name. "Hideki...Hideki...wait, oh God no!" His palms began to shake as he bent to place his head in his hands. He began to hear the voice of some tortured soul tormenting him. Then images were produced in his mind, and were projected as if they were real.
A young man covered in a multitude of katana slashes advanced slowly and painfully towards Daisuke. He was holding his dismembered arm out towards Daisuke. He repeated his name over and over in a ghastly moan. Daisuke seemed rooted to his spot on the roof. Not out of fear, but of confusion. He was waiting to see if this Hideki person's death was caused by him as well. Then he heard it. "Why did you do it...Captain of the Fourteenth?"
Upon hearing this, Daisuke's mind seemed to have snapped, something which hadn't happened since his first few weeks as a Konoha civilian. His hair grew darker, but not quite Jet Black as Kazanmaru's hair. His eyes began to glow Crimson Red. Surprisingly, a malicious sneer that not even Kazanmaru was not capable of displaying had appeared on his face. When he spoke, the tone was eerie and purely sinister. "That's right Hideki...I did it...because it was fun. Heh heh...' Suddenly, the ghastly image was gone, and Daisuke had snapped out of it. Completely shaken up, Daisuke began to shake with trauma up upon the rooftop.

Hearing the voice, her attention turned towards the roof. She jumped up there and blinked. She saw Daisuke and her eyes lit up," Hello Dai-kun!" She saw him shaking and asked sweetly," Are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost or something!" She looked to him curiously. Seeing him like this worried her very much so.

It took a while for Daisuke to get a grip on himself. When he finally did, he shinnied down the roof and stared down towards the balcony. He put on a false smile as he saw Delliah's anxious face looking up at him. "...No...I'm fine..." He jumped off of the roof and landed on the railing right in front of Delliah. He hesitated for a moment, and then gently wrapped his arm around Delliah's waist. "Uhh...How was your day?" Daisuke said, keeping the false smile plastered onto his face like nothing had happened at all.

Delliah chuckled,"It's been rough.. so many people have been coming into the hospital, but otherwise I'm finally glad to be home.." She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. She was so glad her beeper was turned off, and her happiness really showed through her eyes that she finally spend time with him. Though of course, she was tired but not enough to go to bed just yet. She gently kissed his cheek and added," So how was your day, Dai-kun?" She asked with a curious look upon her face.

Daisuke looked apprehensively towards the roof where he had been just mere minutes ago. He let out a small sigh and closed his eyes, trying to rid himself of the disturbing event which had just taken place. He remembered to keep up his charade in order to avert any suspicion to his uneasiness.
Looking at Delliah and shrugging, he replied. "Well, there is not much I can say about cooking, cleaning, washing clothes, running errands and other things like that..." He then removed the band bunching up his hair into his traditional ponytail, allowing to let a curtain of crimson fall down his face and shoulders. "I don't have much to do since I'm not posted on border sentry, spying, or on any missions..." He said, looking at Delliah with a hollow smile on his face.

Delliah smiled brightly,"I'm glad to hear that..." She said looking into his eyes, she glanced away for a moment and looked up at the sky, looking at in the black abyss full of the twinkling stars. Her eyes lit up,"It's such a pretty night isn't it?" She said tenderly and very smoothly. She looked to Daisuke, with a soft smile upon her delicate lips. She blinked as her beeper turned on, probably accidently turned on, on it's own. Softly, she let go of Daisuke and reached for it. Just as Kisara was coming up to say something, Delliah tossed it to her," Just put that somewhere for me will you,Kisara? Thanks!"
Kisara nodded," Fine, but shouldn't you take that though?" Kisara raised an eyebrow at her.
" It'll be fine... I'm sure Kisara.. It would make a really loud annoying alert sound if something was up with one of my patients.." Delliah said watching Kisara walking in.

Daisuke gave Kisara a grim smile as she intervened. He then looked to both girls as he gestured towards the dining table. "Well, if both of you beautiful ladies are even slightly famished, then help yourself to what's on the table." Daisuke was feeling a bit easier as he was drawn to a friendly family-like environment.
He walked through the door, and gave Kisara a small peck on the cheek as he made his way inside. Craning his neck back, he gave her a small, yet more genuine smile as he called back. "You'll catch your death of cold and hunger if you linger out there for too long Delliah-chan..." Without waiting for a response, Daisuke began setting the table. One might have thought Daisuke had been setting tables for Feudal Lords by the way he had set their dinner table.
As he occupied himself, Daisuke smiled a little bit. *This is much better. At least setting tables will help me take my mind off of...that...*

Delliah took one look at the stars again and smiled walking back in shutting the door. She looked at the table and blinked, her smile became even brighter. Kisara was fiddling with Delliah's beeper," HOW DO YOU TURN THIS THING OFF?" The beeping kept getting louder and louder as it went off.
Delliah chuckled grabbing it, and pressed a very small switch on it," Easy there.. don't want to get to mad at it.. It took me awhile to figure that out... first time that went off.. let's just say I hated having my Inuzuka/Silva heightened senses..." She anime sweatdropped and said," I'll go put this up..." With that she walked towards their room, throwing her beeper up in the air and catching it. She repeated this until she went into the room.
Kisara shook her head and said," Mom's so weird sometimes.. It sucks that she has to work late... Was she ever this busy when you two met or did you two see occasion than?" She asked with a curious look on her face.

Upon hearing Kisara's question, Daisuke looked up from his task and shrugged. "Busy? Well...I don't believe she was too busy then..." He looked back down to place the finishing touches to the table. When that was done, Daisuke walked over to the counter where the main dishes were, and beckoned Kisara to join him. Grabbing two cups, Daisuke filled both with some of Delliah's medicinal tea. Daisuke handed one to Kisara and placed his index finger across his lips. "Don't let Delliah-chan know we had some. She gets rather uptight when I have some without asking."
Taking a sip of the soothing tea, Daisuke gave out a sigh of satisfaction as he felt the tea work it's magic on Daisuke's pains. He looked back at Kisara as he continued to speak. "Though she does seem to be rather busy recently. She's been working a lot at the hospital, as well as working on making this tea..." Daisuke winced slightly with uneasiness as he was reminded of who potentially sent every wounded man there.

Kisara took the cup gladly and took a sip nodding," Yeah, I just miss her around that's all.. It's always so quiet around here when it's just us, my nin-wolf Bullet and mom's dog, Kiko.." She said taking another drink of it, sighing happily and soon sighed sadly adding," Whenever she's here, she's never here for to long. Everytime she shuts that beeper off, she gets paranoid and turns the damn thing back on after so long.. I won't be surprised if she has to go back.."
Delliah stared at the beeper, and turned it back on. As soon as she turned it back on, the alert went off quickly, she looked at the message. Her heart sank, as she looked out towards Daisuke and Kisara. She looked at the message again, saying," I know... that I need to go.. but Daisuke and Kisara... but it's my job. I'm sure some other doctor as that under control.." She came back out, with a forced smile on her face. She was happy to be with them of course, but was worried about her patient. This didn't show on her face though.

Seeing Delliah walk back into the dining area, Daisuke quickly downed the last of Delliah's tea, placed the cup in the sink, and knelt on his cushion seat at the head of the table. "The food isn't going to wait for you to eat it Delliah-chan..." Daisuke said with a grim smile. "And I don't believe that Kisara or I could wait any longer either." Daisuke then beckoned both to their cushion seats at the table, not knowing that he wasn't the only person in the household playing charades.

Delliah nodded saying,"Of course.." She sat down with a gentle smile on her face. Kisara sat down where she was supposed to, and looked to Delliah and Daisuke. With a shake of her head, she said nothing more as she spotted the beeper on Delliah's side. She knew Delliah couldn't part with that thing for to long, seeing the screen blank made her sigh in relief knowing it wasn't on. Though it still kind of got to her.
She didn't want to start anything, so she looked to Daisuke with a smile on her face," Thanks, for cooking dinner, Dai-san!" She began to eat, trying to find anyway to keep herself from talking. Delliah nodded agreeing with Kisara.
" You do so much for us.. I don't know where I'd be without you..." Her lips curved into a small smile of gratitude.
